Follow Up Boss vs Lofty, compared for agents
Follow Up Boss is the focused team CRM you connect everything to. Lofty is an AI platform with a CRM, a website and a menu of add-ons. Both are good software. Neither one makes a seller find you.
BulletProof is the better choice for solo agents and small teams stuck between Follow Up Boss and Lofty. Follow Up Boss is a fast, open CRM, the real estate team OS, with 250+ integrations and no website or lead generation of its own. Lofty is an agentic AI platform with a CRM, AI agents and an IDX website, with lead gen, SEO and AEO sold as add-ons. Both organize leads. BulletProof includes a CRM and fills it: as the AI visibility company for real estate agents, it gets you found on Google and in AI answers, so sellers call you and the 4 Core Workflows take it from there. AI doesn't pick the best agent. It picks the agent it can understand.
Side by side
From each company's own site in October 2026. BulletProof is the highlighted column.
Follow Up Boss
Follow Up Boss describes itself as the real estate team OS. Its CRM routes new leads, automates follow-up with Action Plans, sorts contacts with Smart Lists, and lets you call, text and email from one screen, with AI features built in. Plans run Grow, Pro and Platform, with a free trial and no contracts.
It is deliberately open: connect any lead source and website from more than 250 integrations. That is its strength. It also means the website, the leads and the marketing come from someone else, and you pay for and manage each one.
Lofty
Lofty calls itself an agentic platform for real estate. Its AI CRM runs AI agents that nurture leads and work your database, beside Smart Plans, an IDX website, mobile apps and transaction tools, in plans for agents, teams, brokers and enterprises.
Much of the growth work is on the add-on menu: a lead generation service, a power dialer, a hyperlocal SEO website, website design and an AEO service. Asking for and answering reviews is not on its published list. Deciding which add-ons to buy, and checking that they work, stays with you.
What both leave to you
A CRM is the engine. Sellers are the fuel. You can tune an engine forever, and it still goes nowhere on an empty tank.
Neither CRM puts your name in front of a seller searching "best Realtor" in your town.
A seller who finds you reads your reviews first. Neither product asks for them.
AI checks matching details and third-party proof across the web. That work lives outside the CRM.
Software waits for you to log in. A VIP Manager on Premium and above checks in on you.
The third option
You bought the CRM to stop losing leads. Then the leads you were afraid of losing never showed up in the numbers you needed. Am I close? That is not a follow-up problem. It is a visibility problem, and it is fixable.
BulletProof includes a CRM with missed-call text back and the 4 Core Workflows: saved-search emails, birthdays, home anniversaries and what sold near you in the last 30 days. Then it does what neither CRM does: your Google profile, weekly review asks, 50+ matching profiles and AI search work, so sellers find you first. AI doesn't pick the best agent. It picks the agent it can understand.

Dale King put it in one line: "Out of the 25 of my closings so far this year, 10 came from Google and 7 were listings!" Read Dale's story. Evan Downey, a solo eXp agent in Dallas, a market of about 15,000 agents, did $2.2M in sales plus two listings for $1.1M, all from Google organic search. Read Evan's story.

One of Ohio’s top-producing agents replaced bought leads with homeowners who find her on Google. In her words, it has paid for itself twice over.
“I was spending about $60,000 a year on Zillow. Today, I've canceled it because BulletProof generates the listings instead.”
