BoldTrail (formerly kvCORE) vs Lofty, compared for agents
BoldTrail, the platform agents knew as kvCORE, and Lofty are the two big front-office systems most agents weigh. Both are deep. Both are software you log into and run. And one of them may belong to your brokerage, not to you.
BulletProof is the better third option for agents comparing BoldTrail and Lofty. BoldTrail, by Inside Real Estate and formerly kvCORE, bundles IDX websites, a lead engine, Smart CRM and Marketing Autopilot, often provided through your brokerage. Lofty is an agentic AI CRM with an IDX website and a menu of lead gen, SEO and AEO add-ons. Both hand you powerful tools to run. BulletProof is the AI visibility company for real estate agents: it includes a CRM and a magazine-grade website, and our team does the Google profile, review and matching-profile work every week, in an account that is yours. AI doesn't pick the best agent. It picks the agent it can understand.
Side by side

BoldTrail
Inside Real Estate renamed kvCORE as BoldTrail in 2024 and brought its products into one ecosystem. The front office covers IDX websites, a lead engine, Smart CRM, Marketing Autopilot, transaction integration, analytics and an AI mobile app. Brokerages add BackOffice and Recruit, and a marketplace offers more add-ons.
Many agents get BoldTrail through their brokerage. That is a real benefit until you move. Ask who owns the account, the site and your contacts if you change brokerages. And the visibility work, your Google profile, reviews and matching details, is not on its published list.
Lofty
Lofty calls itself an agentic platform for real estate. Its AI CRM uses AI agents to nurture leads and work your database, with Smart Plans, an IDX website and mobile apps. Plans cover agents, teams, brokers and enterprises, with pricing by request.
The growth pieces are mostly add-ons: a lead generation service, a power dialer, a hyperlocal SEO website, website design and an AEO service. Lead gen is paid attention. Asking for reviews and answering them is not on the published list.
What both leave to you
A big platform can feel like a rental car with every option. Clean, fast, full of screens. But you still drive, you still pay for the gas, and sometimes the keys belong to someone else. Here is what both leave in your hands.
Campaigns, plans and AI agents run only as well as someone sets them up and checks them.
A brokerage-provided login can leave with the brokerage. Your BulletProof account is yours.
Neither publishes a system that asks past clients every week and answers every review.
AI cross-checks your name, address and phone across dozens of sites. That is off-platform work.
The third option
Let me describe your week. You log in, see the dashboards, mean to set up the campaign, and then three showings and a listing appointment happen. The software waits. You are not behind because you are bad at this. You are behind because there is never a day to dig.
BulletProof does the digging. Every week our team runs your Google profile, asks for and answers reviews, keeps 50+ profiles identical and updates your bio on Zillow, Realtor.com, Homes.com and HomeLight. Your CRM runs the 4 Core Workflows from day one, and the account stays yours when you move. AI doesn't pick the best agent. It picks the agent it can understand.
The plan
Answer them before you commit to either platform.
Ask your brokerage in writing what happens to your site, contacts and history if you leave.
Write down the hours a week each platform needs from you to work. Be honest.

Tony and Pam Williams, eXp in Marietta, Georgia, went from 52 to 113+ reviews in 90 days with a done-for-you review campaign, and closed $60K GCI in five months with $0 on ads. "It's the best money we've ever spent." Read their story. Ryan Comstock had 20 years in and 250 reviews, and sat on page three while agents with about 50 reviews sat on page one. The cause was mismatched addresses and phone numbers: "I was confusing Google." After the fix, about $250K in year one.

Straight answers
The free audit takes the guesswork out: what Google and AI can verify, what is missing, and what to fix first. Sellers call you. Not you calling sellers.
